The Littleton Football Association was created in 2008 by core group of parents with a passion for bringing contact football back to the Littleton area. The team is classified as a "Club Team" and is not affiliated with any high school. We played other club teams and prep schools not affiliated with the NHIAA.
The town of Littleton embraced us in many ways, first by allowing use of town fields and facilities as well as working with our leaders to ensure that our team was folded into the fall sports schedule to allow for games and practices in Littleton. Secondly the local businesses were very receptive to us by donating funds and services to help get us started.
Our first season was a hit for many people in town, for the first time in almost 20 years; contact football was being played on a Littleton field. The Littleton people showed their support by coming out by the droves, attendance was upwards of 600 to 700 at our first game.
Local newspapers such as the Littleton Courier and the Caledonian Record covered our games and helped to spread the word of our success.
Our season record was a remarkable 5 and 6 with a final game in Manchester for the New Hampshire Club Team Championship against the Youngsville Seahawks. Our Crusaders lost the game 14-0 but were runner-ups for the state.
